A carnal Christian cannot receive the things from the Spirit, Romans 8:5-8 ;1 Corinthians 2:14; 3:1-3; Hebrews 5:12,13

Literal Interpretation Is To Be Used
The Literal Interpretation Of A Word Is Its Designation In The Common Stock Of The Language At The Time That Document Was Written
This Includes The Use Of Idioms, Metaphors, Similes And All Such Phenomena Of Languages
Historical and Cultural Background
The history and culture are to be studied and taken into consideration prior to the translation of any given passage.
The amount of revelation at the time in history of the passage must also be taken into consideration.
The Object of Translation
To Interpret What the Scripture Says Without Adding Anything from the Translator
The Translator Is To Discover The Meaning Of The Passage, Not Come Up With One Of His Own.
The Unclear Passages are Governed by the Clear Passages
Give preference to the clearer passages.
No doctrine can come from an obscure passage.
Scripture Interprets Scripture
Compare Scriptures with common subjects
One must be certain that the passages are discussing the same topic
Similarities are to be kept as similarities not made identical. (Like means just that, similar to but not the same.)
Do not add more to what the Scripture is saying than what is actually there
Within context, the Bible often interprets itself

And let us consider one another in stirring up love and proper works, not forsaking the gathering of ourselves, just as is the habit of some, but encouraging, and so much more as we see the day approaching (Hebrews chapter 10:24–25).
In a world that often pulls us toward isolation, coming together face-to-face provides encouragement, clarity, and spiritual strength. At Word of Grace Studies, we gather because we value the opportunity to build up one another in truth, to stir up love and proper works, and to grow together in the faith. Whether you can come and fellowship with us or at a local assembly in your area, do not forsake the assembling of the saints, your presence matters—for your benefit and for the encouragement of others.
You’re always welcome to join us and experience the encouragement and connection that come from gathering together.
