Who Is Satan? Origin, Fall, and What Demons Do
Who is Satan? This lesson traces Scripture’s answer: he is a person, a created cherub, not a principle. Ezekiel 28 records his creation as the anointed covering cherub, blameless until unrighteousness was found in him, and his casting from the mountain of God. Isaiah 14 records the five “I will” statements of his heart. Job 1–2 and 1 Chronicles 21:1 show his opposition under God’s limits. Revelation 12:3–4, Ephesians 6:11–12, and Colossians 1:16 identify the demons who fell with him and their ranks. 1 Kings 22 and 1 Timothy 4:1 show them acting. John, Luke, Ephesians, and 2 Corinthians name him ruler of this world, prince of the power of the air, and god of this age who blinds the unsaved. First Peter, Revelation, and Ephesians name him the Christian’s enemy, accuser, and attacker.
