Satan attacks believers through doubt, cowardice, and lying. Lesson 18 contrasts wavering with faith that takes God at His Word, Peter’s denials and Timothy’s charge, and Ananias and Sapphira with Satan as the father of the lie. Christians put off the lie, take up the shield of faith, and stand with a sound mind.
