Six Trumpets: Wormwood, Abyss, and Armageddon | Rev 8–9
Six of the seven trumpets sound against the Gentiles around the Mediterranean while Israel is protected in the wilderness. Hail and fire burn a third of the trees and all green grass. A meteor turns a third of the sea to a quality of blood. Wormwood poisons the rivers. A third of the sun, moon, and stars is darkened, and the day is shortened to sixteen hours. Satan opens the abyss; locust-like demons torment the unsealed for five months while death flees. Four bound demons and a two-hundred-million army kill a third of mankind by fire, smoke, and brimstone. The survivors do not change their minds.
